tomorrow is the march card swap and i actually finished my stack last night and not at the last minute! we had the option to follow a sketch and choose the sentiment. i was going to stamp or cricut a cute saying to go on them but i like the plainness of them (also the little buttons that i put on them had words already.) since it is about spring time i decided to make them springy and bright and flowery. luckily, i had just the right materials on my shelves and only had to buy the embellishments. i love the bright colors! i apologize for the dim pictures. there was tons of sun in the craft room and then those bitch clouds came rolling in.
i have huge news. well, it's huge for me. i finally decided what i want my paper wall to look like!! i have been thinking about this for about three months now (and, yes, i know i need to get a life) but it all of the sudden popped in my head the other day. i was sitting in the craft room (ok, and dancing a bit too) singing that "hey ya" song and i got to the part when he says "shake it like a polaroid picture" and BOOOOM! an idea explosion! i am cutting my "do not cut this paper, do not even think about cutting this paper, do not look at this paper, in fact, forget you know about this paper" stash into paper polaroids. the girls will be so happy about this because every time we get together i take all of my pretties out and whisper sweet nothings to them and make any one who will listen admire them too. i plan to hang these cute little paper polaroids with either handitak or clothespins. now to buy MORE pretty paper...
