greetings ghouls and boils. it is that time of year that i not-so-patiently wait for all year 'round. the one night out of the year when you can dress up as your heart's desire to trick the spirits of the dead and not feel weird taking candy from strangers.
since annette and bobby are having a costume party for halloween/bobby's 29th birthday, my family unanimously agreed that we had to have our own private traditional halloween celebration last night. halloween is big in our family. we love it more than anything and always do it up right. my mom even takes the day off every year to prepare for the night's festivities. Every year there is a big pot of boiling albondigas stewing on the stove, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and plenty of other sweets, candles lit everywhere in the house, halloween decor, and scary movies playing on the t.v. this year we added a dance-off because riley just felt the need to shake it. and who could blame her, really?
